The LDAP Design and Development course provides students with a focused, hands-on solution for deploying a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory server in the Solaris 8 Operating System (OS). This course teaches students how to set up, install, structure, and configure naming services using Native LDAP. Students also learn how to migrate existing directories to LDAP.
