The Sun StorageTek Virtual Tape Library Prime (VTL Prime) System is an integrated VTL and data deduplication solution that dramatically reduces data volumes. This allows performing data backups over increasingly constrained backup windows, which reduces cost and bandwidth requirements. In addition, the replication technology in VTL Prime also addresses the growing need for medium and large enterprises to backup remote data and integrate it with central datacenters.The Sun StorageTek VTL Prime 1.0 Software Administration and Configuration course will provide service engineers with an understanding of the key features of VTL Prime 1.0 and the various models, such as the R and C series. The course will further explain how to install, administer, and configure the VTL Prime 1.0 software.
