The Oracle Solaris 11 Advanced System Administration course provides an intensive hands-on experience, working with complex and integrated administration concepts. The course builds on the system administration skills taught in the Oracle Solaris 11 System Administration course.
This course highlights an array of advanced subjects and technologies, such as installing Oracle Solaris 11 using the Automated Installer (AI), using the Image Packaging System (IPS) for package management, configuring zones and virtual networks, and configuring IP multipathing. You also learn how to secure the system through the use of privileges and auditing and how to manage processes and evaluate system resources. You are also shown the tools you need to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot software failures.
