The GNOME 2.6 Administration and Support course introduces the GNOME 2.6 Desktop to customer technical support professionals. GNOME's features and functions are described in detail along with an overview of GNOME architecture. Installation of GNOME in conjunction with the Sun Java Desktop System is discussed with a focus on hardware and software requirements. Discussion of common problems and how to troubleshoot them concludes the course.
